The Best Hospital (P) Ltd, had started functioning with ground and first floors from september 1982 with a bed strength of 40. Over the next 15 years, additional floors and building have been constructed and the present bed strength is 90.

Dr. B. M. Veerabadran, M.D., is the founder and Managing Director of the hospital.

His first son Dr. V. Mylappan did his MRCP in U.K and joined him in the year 1997.

His second son Dr. V. Premanayagam, MS. MCH., is a Surgical Gastroenterologist.

It is nearly 30yrs since this hospital is serving the public from lower to upper middle class in South Chennai. The hospital has senior consultants from various branches of Medicine, Surgery ,Obstetrics and Gynaecology. All surgeries except Open Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation are carried out in this hospital. The hospital has a 12 bedded ICU and 5 beds in Male HDU and 5 beds in Female HDU, all in the ground floor.

There is a well equipped labour room. There are 3 Major Operation Theatres with facilities like Laminar flow as well as 2 Minor Operation Theatres. Totally there are 4 floors in the old building (G+3) and another 4 floors in the new building.
