Toxemia (Preeclampsia)


The symptoms include:

  • Fetal ultrasound

Reduced salt intake and increased water consumption can help treat preeclampsia. Corticosteroids can also help baby's lungs become more mature. Anticonvulsant medication, such as magnesium sulfate can be prescribed to prevent a first seizure.
