The symptoms include:
- Burning sensation
- Watery eyes
- Itchy eyes
- Swollen eyelid
- Discharge; could be thick or watery
- Foreign body sensation
- Photophobia (light sensitivity)
- Dermatitis (crusting or scaling of the eyelid skin)
- Eyelashes falling out. This is typically associated with blepharitis.
