Low Heamoglobin

Symptoms: 

The symptoms include:

  • Tiredness and lethargy (lack of energy)
  • Shortness of breath
  • Heart palpitations (noticeable heartbeats)
  • tinnitus (hearing sounds coming from inside the body, rather than from an outside source)
  • Feeling itchy
  • A sore or abnormally smooth tongue
  • Painful ulcers (open sores) on the corners of your mouth
  • Spoon-shaped nails
Tests to diagnose: 

Blood test is conducted to diagnose low heamoglobin

Treatment: 

The treatment for anemia depends on the underlying illness causing it. Severe bleeding is usually treated with blood transfusions. Iron supplements are used to treat iron-deficiency anemia.
