Cirrhosis of Liver

Symptoms: 

The symptoms include loss of appetite, tiredness, nausea, weight loss, abdominal pain, spider-like blood vessels and severe itching. 

Tests to diagnose: 

The diagnoses include blood tests, medical history, and physical examination. A liver biopsy and endoscopy may be needed to check how much of the liver has been damaged.

Treatment: 

The treatment includes change in lifestyle, medications for the symptoms and when cirrhosis progresses to end-stage liver disease, a liver transplant may be needed.
