Cholera

Symptoms: 

The symptoms include profuse watery diarrhoea, vomiting, and leg cramps, rapid loss of body fluids leads to dehydration and shock.

Tests to diagnose: 

Testing the stool sample is the way to diagnose Cholera.

Treatment: 

The treatment includes rehydration by providing oral rehydration solution and, when necessary, intravenous fluids and electrolytes, antibiotics such as doxycycline, tetracycline, erythromycin, azithromycin, or ciprofloxacin and zinc supplements.
