Bacterial Vaginosis

Symptoms: 

The symptoms include vaginal discharge that's thin and grayish white, foul-smelling "fishy" vaginal odor, especially after sexual intercourse, vaginal itching and burning during urination.

Tests to diagnose: 

Tests include a physical examination, pelvic exam and vaginal secretions test.

Treatment: 

Bacterial vaginosis (BV) can be treated successfully with antibiotics such as Metronidazole (Flagyl, Metrogel-Vaginal, others), Clindamycin (Cleocin, Clindesse, others) and Tinidazole (Tindamax).
